1. Introduction and Scope
At Find Your Card ('we', 'us', 'our'), we prioritize the safety and privacy of our collector community. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, protect, and share your personal information when you use our mobile application and website. By using our services, you consent to the practices described in this document.
2. Information We Collect
To provide an efficient service, we collect the following categories of data: a) Account Data: When logging in via Google OAuth, we receive your email address, name, and public profile picture to create your collector identity. b) Location Data: We request access to your precise and approximate location (GPS) exclusively to enable the 'Radar' feature, connect you with nearby users, and suggest 'Safe Zones' for trading. c) Inventory Data: The cards you mark as duplicates or missing are stored on our servers to enable the matching algorithm.
3. Use of Information
We use your data for the following exclusive purposes: operating and maintaining the platform; facilitating matchmaking between local collectors; ensuring safety by suggesting public meeting points; responding to technical support inquiries; and displaying relevant advertising to keep the service free.
4. Advertising and Third Parties (Google AdMob)
Our application uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use data such as your device's advertising ID (AAID on Android / IDFA on iOS), IP address, and usage data to provide personalized ads based on your interests. Google acts as a third-party provider and processes this data according to its own Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy). Users can opt-out of personalized advertising through their mobile device's privacy settings.
5. Data Storage and Security
Your information is processed and secured using Supabase infrastructure (PostgreSQL-based and cloud-hosted). We implement industry-standard encryption protocols (SSL/TLS) for data transmission and strict Row Level Security (RLS) policies to ensure that no one except you and our automated trading systems can modify your inventory.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
You have full control over your information. We retain your data only while your account remains active. If you decide to leave the platform, you can request the permanent and irreversible deletion of your account, inventory, and trade history directly from the app (Profile > Account > Delete Account Permanently) or through our web portal. Upon request, all associated records will be purged from our database.
7. Children's Privacy
Since our platform facilitates physical meetups for the exchange of goods, use of Find Your Card is strictly restricted to users over 13 years of age. If the user is a minor in their jurisdiction, they must have the explicit supervision of a parent or legal guardian to coordinate and attend any trade meetup. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
8. Changes to this Policy
We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect legal or technical changes. We will notify users of substantial changes through a prominent notice within the app or via email.
